Norma Johnston Consulting was set up in 2007 and provides planning and hands-on support to ensure that public relations, communications and engagement are effective. From developing five-year strategic plans to engaging stakeholders on a one-to-one basis, we have a sound track record, and our associate consultants are from a range of disciplines; we are all responsive, respectful, and realistic.
Norma has worked as Communications Director for Amnesty International UK, Global Communications and Marketing Director for Plan International and as an Advocacy Advisor with the World Health Organization. Norma has campaigned internationally as well as in the UK. She has facilitated meetings for UN Delegations and major UK charities.
Norma likes to go the extra mile for good causes, including walking 26.2 miles overnight in fancy dress in support of the Moon Walk for Breast Cancer Research.
MANAGING YOUR REPUTATION
Norma Johnston has been working with individuals and organisations for 30 years. Her experience spans international non-governmental organisations (NGOs), UK charities and front-line teams at UN agencies. She has led change management programmes, developed communications plans and led crisis responses, as well as coaching CEOs and training campaigners. As a trustee of a major UK charity, she used her strategic and people skills in a non-executive role. Norma holds the CIPR Diploma.
